I think it's very difficult for any pro, let alone TH, to sustain a winning streak in 3 tournaments. At his current state of play, I would say TH has done quite well to reach 3 SFs. It's inevitable his body will tire.
Uncle WCH also play 3 Tourneys in a row (but lost earlier in WC). Dunno if the uncle can sustain or not vs the fiery Nguyen.;)


I will never trust HH with PAWing. The outcome is almost always the opposite to my PAWs :D:D

The third-seeded Vietnamese, ranked 10th in the world, played confidently to beat the world’s 84th Indonesian 21-19 in the first set.

However, Sugiarto fought back fiercely and won the second set by the same margin to be on equal terms with Minh.

In the decider, Vietnam’s number one cruised to a 21-4 victory while the Indonesian looked exhausted.

Winning a semis berth like last year means Minh has reached his goal to remain in the world’s top ten.

However, now Minh is looking forward to wining a berth in the final match as his opponent in the semis will be the 15th seed Malaysian Muhammad Hafiz Hashm, 19 places below Minh.

Yet the world’s 29th Malaysian may not be an easy rival as he upset the second seed and world number eight South Korean Sung Hwan Park in straight sets in the third round and swept aside the eighth seed and world number 19 Indonesian Andre Kurniawan Tedjono in the quarters Friday.

For my opinion, this three younger XD pairs have the opportunities to shine if the coaches send them to more tournament esp SS:

1) Chan Peng Sung/Goh Liu Ying (My #1 choice)
2) Ong Jian Gou/Sook Chin Chong (#2 choice)
3) Mohd Razif Abd Latif/Woon Khe Wei (#3 choice)

For Koo Kien Keat/ Ng Hui Lin, my advice to KKK is to concentrate on MD only. NHL can find another partner. Others, do not see any improvement yet...:)

the truth is,mas never have 2 good enough wd player to create some wave in wd,so far only wong/chin have this ability.
the other female double player we saw(malaysian of course)didnt have the enough skill/ability,patnering each other might not bear any fruit
so that it is wise for them to patner with male double player in xd,those male double player can cover up for them.
however,the wd department after 2 years might be the deepest in malaysia badminton history so far as i know.
the player is improving,not significantly but just give them some time,most of them only 20/21,sabrina chong is the oldest among the junior:)
