I just started playing badminton. I usually use running shoes in playing badminton but i also acquire a nike tiempo futsal shoes recently. can i use the futsal shoes in playing badminton? what are the downsides of using it? thanks!:)

it has less cushioning

And also futsall shoes are ussually quite tight (this is of course to allow good ball hitting), and hence it will cause a bit of discomfort since in baddy it always start and stop movements

I see players a lot in my courts, playing Futsal then baddy and vice versa.
In the long run, skin around your toes and the digits should be thicker :D
Not advisable for flat footed guy as these shoes has little or no heel support :D
