Don't know about any tournaments, but the San Gabriel Badminton Club (a 24 hours club) is ~25miles north of Long Beach. It has 10 courts and cost $7 per day.:)

You can play open gym during the week days in CSULB (Califorina State University, Long Beach). I'm not sure what are the hours, but you should be able to find out through this link:

http://www.csulb.edu/depts/recsports/Open_Hours/index.html

Or you can go to OCBC (Orange County Badminton Club)...where they had the US Open:

Or SGVBC (San Gabriel Valley Badminton Club)...24hr badminton Gym:

if you need more info, feel free to PM me. :D

CSULB is closed for the summer. The last day was August 7, 2003. Don't know when it will re-open.

Thanks. I just got back into badminton and didn't know there was a court 2 minutes from my house! I'll check it out on Monday!
