Yeah, of course from a perspective of a sportswomen who does understand that sports do make them sweat, they would be understanding.
But there are also another grp of girls who might not neccessary like sweaty guys..
so, GIRLS, c'mon, let us know.

Presumably a girl worth knowing well would be ok with you and your sweat. Why do you want a pretty Barbie Doll if she can't stand a little sweat.
However if that is the type you really want, it is a well known fact that a thick wallet does wonders for helping certain girls "see past" such deficits as short stature, old age and body odour.

As long it don't affect and even enhance their "Beauty" or X factor, you're safe!:)

I don't see how on court sweating would affect off court experiences :o

hmmm, in what ways do girls like sweaty guys? I mean, in court if u are playing, u will sweat, that is for all cases. hafiz hasim doesnt even move that much in court, of coz he doesn't need to be sweating. He compared to other players are the worst bunch.

Depends.
If your poncing around playing pat-a-cake badminton & drenched then it's not likely to be impressive.
If your playing intensely it's probably gonna be ok as long as you scrub up off the court.

lol
now that u guys bring this up... i'm lol'ing that there are no girl's responses (that i know of) yet.
i dun really care if i sweat on court... more that i put the effort in and feel tired after playing. i sweat easily... if a girl doesn't like the sweat i'll just get a towel or something. what...ever
ur playing a "non-sissy sport" anyways

well seriously, i believe they'd rather concentrate on how the theyre playing instead of the amount of perspiration they produce.....that is unless the girl's in the audience during a tournament. Still though, not much of a prob. :P

I don't get it. Do you guys go play badminton to pick up on girls, or to play BADMINTON. If it's about badminton then who cares. The purpose is to enjoy the game that you love.
If it's the girl that you're after then just buy the latest badminton gears and try to look good for ladies, and leave the game play to the real badminton lovers.

From my experience, most girl don't like sweat badminton, actually not only badminton but all kinds of sport, guy. They will admire you form a far distance, but prefer you to be "dry" when being close T.T
Even my girlfriend, she always asks me change a new t-shirt every game cause I sweat a lot. Now she brings me about 5-6 T-shirt when going to play badminton together.

The girls at our badminton clubs don't seem to care about anything :S. That hug thing reminds me of a really close mixed game I had once - last match of the tie against another region, and when we finally won, she gave me a hug despite the fact I was sweating like crazy :D. I felt disgusting though. So perhaps I'm just girly...
One thing I don't like though is guys that work up a layer of sweat, spray on a layer of deodorant, work up another layer of sweat... etc... I don't think anyone really cares what you smell like at badminton. Maybe I've got a bad nose, but I never notice. What I do notice is the deodorant.

It's extremely foul isn't it? God damnit, people just take showers after all your physical activity please.

Of course we DO take a shower after physical activity. However, it is just after the game or so, how u expect us to go and wash up? We need to cool down or something right.
Anyway, i think that if it is your gf/wife/sister, they wouldn't mind.
If it is some stranger girl who plays badminton with you, i m sure she will be more concern with herself then the sweaty guys.
And even unless the girl doesn't excerise, which girl who excerise don't sweat?

funny you should mention insecurity.. cause that didnt once cross my mind at all. I mean seriously what do people expect you to smell like after a few rounds of badminton? Chanel No.5? Unless the person has a serious case of BO, then the person would be doing the world a favour not just girls by taking a shower afterwards. Otherwise i dont think there's anything to be so called "insecure" about. But thats just me.:)
