just for fun i decided to wonder on what the Z in arcsaber z stands for

Here is my theory
Z is the last letter of the english alphabet.
As such, it can cary many meanings
As the last of the arcsaber line (possibly) it could be the most powerful?

Also, Z could mean Zeta from Z Gundam

It's a new beginning for the slim and narrow(er) ISO head. It may be the last alphabet, but just look at Z-Slash or ZS...there could be ZX, Z1, etc.

The Z stands for zero. Which relates to Wing Zero from Gundam not zeta ;)

originally the design guys named it "arcsaber zero-air-resistance slash" but the guys at marketing decided z-slash is better
and then the design guys, trying to get back at the marketing guys, made the racket look like a clown (black, yellow, white, and red)
so that's how the z-slash was born into the badminton world

true story

There is already a yonex racket called "Zeta"
The yonex isometric "zeta" us finished in yellow and black pretty much like the z slash, except it doesn't have the red colour on it.
The isometric series would seem to be where yonex test there colour schemes for example the previous isometric racket (I think iso22jr) was finished in silver and yellow/gold (like the Arc7) and this year the ISO zeta is finished in yellow and black (like the z slash) so I have came to the conclusion that the colour on the next isometric model, will be similar to the next high end rackets colour
