As predicted, the draw is to be re-drawed due to the CHN team's withdrawal, here is the link:

In the Re-draw, there is a mistake in WS..
Instead of " BYE", it should be "qualification"..
Eventhough, Chinese MD are still listed..I do not think Xu Chen/Quochendong will make it unless they will arrive at Odense on Tuesday afternoon.

Bad news for INA in XD that Devin/Lita meets Frans/Pia which I think Pia/Frans will get thru

Yup, especially for Firda:)
Against Sophia Hansson at first round, possibly Elizabeth Cann at R/16 and either Saina Nehwal or Eriko Hirose at QF, likely Wang Yihan at SF.

Britta Anderson back in international scene with a non-Danish, Indonesian partner. Talk about a deeper Mixed Doubles, hehe:)

Shintaro Ikeda and Reiko Shiota will be playing. Sadly they are in the plain Qualification Round. Hope they have the "hads" to make into the main. And then if they make it to the finals and win, that would be a big Banzai!:D

As much as I want KidRa to win the title, I don't think we should predict they'll go all the way to final. It may jinx 'em. :o

..looking at the re-draw:
- I could foresee a Gade vs. SDK MS Final. Gade is out to defend his MS title.
- The Danes have a very good chance of capturing the XD title, arguably their best event, esp. with the absence of CHN's top pairs. Fischer Nielsen & Pedersen are back to defend their title.
- We could see another rematch between Tine and WYH for the WS title.
- The MD title is up for grabs. INA's Kido & Setiawan are out to defend their title. But have a tougher road as they'll likely face Boe & Mogensen and Clark & Anthony if they are to be in the Final.
- The WD title is also up for grabs. MAS' WPT & CEH are out to defend their title.

MS: what about Simon who had beat Gade before.

MD: Guo Zhengdong/Xu Chen may be ready to win

WD: what about those 2 Zhangs from Macau?

Peter Gade may not be in his best form as he's "rumoured" to be suffering from some injury right now (well, I might be wrong here)

Thomas Laybourn is also out of the revised XD Draw (confirmed). His injury could be serious and he will also miss the French SS. Quoted from the Danish Badminton site: "In addition, I am naturally concerned about the duration of the injury and thus not only will bring an end to the Denmark Open."

The opponents Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan [1] will probably face if they are to retain the title in Denmark:
R32 vs Michal Logosz/Robert Mateusiak
R16 vs (possibly) Chris Langridge/Robin Middleton
QF vs (possibly) Guo Zhendong/Xu Chen [8]
SF vs (possibly) Mathias Boe/Carsten Mogensen [3]
F vs (possibly) Koo Kien Keat/Tan Boon Heong [2]

As for Nova Widianto/Liliyana Natsir [1]:
Nova Widianto/Liliyana Natsir [1]
R32 vs Gan Teik Chai/Anastasia Russkikh
R16 vs Rasmus Bonde/Marie Roepke or Noriyasu Hirata/Miyuki Maeda
QF vs (possibly) Tao Jiaming/Zhang Yawen [6]
SF vs (possibly) Anthony Clark/Donna Kellogg [7]
F vs (possibly) Joachim Fischer-Nielsen/Christinna Pedersen [2]

and for Sony Dwi Kuncoro [2]:
R32 vs Dicky Palyama
R16 vs Christian Lind Thomsen or Petr Koukal
QF vs (possibly) Chetan Anand [6]
SF vs (possibly) Chen Long [8]
F vs (possibly) Peter Gade [1]
