Just a quick question to those who have used them:

Is it worth paying three times the cost to direct import them from Japan? Does the Very Cool technology really matter at all (it's just socks, which is replaceable every 3 months or so)?

If u really want to protech your toe from injury or blister or skin from tore off..then u should go for it..if not then u can just opt for those local sport shop. No need import...since its lasted short term only...

Do agree with LinDanTruCool, it really boil down to you financial capability as it will cost more for Import Products.

Well I don't have a problem with the financial thing, but the main problem now is that the "Very Cool" 1938JP socks (which I can't get) that I'm interested in is listed in the catalogue at a lower Japanese RRP than the 19007JP which I can buy here. Although when I direct import the earlier, the process will cost me 3 times more than the price that I pay for the supposedly cheaper 19007JP....

I'm sticking to the one I can buy here, lol. I'm guessing the Very Cool thing doesn't matter since the socks are always buried in the shoes during play even when I sweat.

they're just socks........like not to bash but trust me, socks are socks, No matter what it says on the label the only difference is what it's made of, your shoes are going to make a much bigger difference than your socks are.

Its not the VeryCool effect.. the cotton is very comfy and the socks last longer than the normal Yonex socks.

My previous all cotton JP 19007 ankle-cut socks have just lasted me 6 weeks of regular (8 hours plus per week) play before a hole broke through at the bottom. I do hope the Very Cool mesh is more durable.
