View Full Version : is it too expensive in Australia? hhppyy 11-05-2002, 07:00 AM Hi all, MP99 costs $AUD190 without string in Australia, is it expensive compare to the price u bought? how much u bought? Cheapest you can get an AS spec here in Melb is $240, or maybe $220 if you know the right peeps, but $190 is a good deal. PS I'd be slightly wary if it's a TH or a TW. Pecheur 11-05-2002, 06:23 PM Look at the shaft, after the MP99 there will be usually two letters (say SP, or TH). If nothing, it's most likely an AS, look at the cone of the racket (the bit just above the grip) it should have a serial engraved, two letters should say what type it is. If there's no serial engraved and for that price, walk away. I doubt you'd be able to find an MP99 for less than that in Oz though.
