View Full Version : Muhammed Hafiz Hashim
dylle 10-20-2009, 05:20 PM He is finally back after an injury. How do you see his chances?
He's got a difficult first match against Rajiv Ouseph from England.
At bet365.com the odds is right now 2.00, and 1.71 to Rajiv. Dont really know where to put my money.
With world number one Lee Chong Wei out with an injury, the task of carrying the Malaysian flag in the Denmark Open Super Series falls in the hands of Muhammad Hafiz Hashim. Is he ready?
Wong8Egg 10-20-2009, 05:28 PM If badminton central remove the minimum limit of 15 characters, my answer would simply be "nope". :o
chris-ccc 10-20-2009, 05:36 PM .
At this 2009 Denmark Open Super Series, I think Rajiv Ouseph can defeat HH.
Rajiv defeated Wong Choon Hann last week at the Dutch Open. Rajiv should be in top form.

2cents 10-20-2009, 06:15 PM I didn't want to offend any Hafiz's fans, my last post "no" was just for testing.
My official answer is:
For Hafiz, you should vote as "Boleh", there is no other option.
Hafiz, Boleh!

Pemuda 10-21-2009, 12:56 AM HH can use two Arcsaber Z Slash racquets and put on a pair of shoes which Jimmy Choo specially designed for him, he will still be bundled out nicely in the DO09'

And then lost badly to Eric Pang, that looked really lame, looked like he wasn't really going for it.
george@chongwei 10-21-2009, 04:45 AM i predict the match between yoyo and rajiv will go to 3 sets..because both player playing style is like yoyo...:p
markchan 10-21-2009, 05:26 AM i predict the match between yoyo and rajiv will go to 3 sets..because both player playing style is like yoyo...:p
Rajiv's playing style maybe like yo-yo but nobody can stake the title of Yo-Yo King except HH !!:D
ps. As I am typing this, HH just won the first set 21-17, but is trailing the 2nd set 4 - 11 at the break...hahahaha....:D:D:D
markchan 10-21-2009, 05:32 AM Rajiv 19 -11 HH. Looks like george is rite.....it's going to the 3rd set..sigh!
koo_fan 10-21-2009, 05:43 AM It surprised me that we're having a new thread for him. With his full name written on the thread title.

Well, he's a former All England champ, and MAS MS#2, you know.
And I'm sure everyone wants to know how he'll perform, after being reborn under Hendrawan's guidance. ;)

ahem, i guess he's not mas#2 right?:( He's been lost in the jungle for quite some time. And winning a 1st round match against Rajiv OUSEPH IN 3 SETS is not a special thing imo;)
limsy 10-21-2009, 07:15 AM mas number 2 is still the uncle wong^^
george@chongwei 10-21-2009, 07:17 AM Yeah, Wong Sifu is still mas number 2;) atm.. hope it will stays like this .

Hafiz's 'trend' has been he wins earlier rounds, loses steam by the time he gets to Semi. Trend continued during Taiwan/Macau.;) If he meets China players, 90% out but most of them didnt come this tourney. Its his lazy way of playing (Misbun commented bf).
But dont put too much $$$, after a few months under Hendrawan, may be different & Hafiz isnt nicknamed yo-yo for no reason. :D:p
Isegrim 10-22-2009, 08:00 AM ok! now i would fire him!! he lead 11-1...and lost :)

kuwichert 10-27-2009, 08:36 AM Mr Yoyo is lucky, it seems (if Taufik is not fooling around:confused:) that he has to play maximum 2 matches , this means, thursday night he can join parties in Paris already without any requests of resting for next matches:D:D:D
