Is it possible to train two kinds of racket sports at the same time without effecting the progress? Recently I am training Table Tennis and Badminton at the same time. I suddenly lose my footwork and stroke for Badminton after training for 2 weeks for Table Tennis without playing Badminton. Should I not train the 2 sports at the same time, or I just need more time to adjust. Any one train more other sports together with Badminton?

table tennis really should not affect badminton.
Something like squash or tennis is very hard to train along side badminton. Iv tried with tennis but gave up and concentrated on badminton.

And recently iv started having a hit with my dad at gym for squash. And its quite difficult to get the hang of the different techniques and racket weights.

Only thing i can say is squash is great for strengthening your wrist and power in your strokes for badminton ;)

I feel, table tennis do affect badminton. I used to play recreational table tennis last time during my school breaks with my classmates. I dont play at a high level, and i would rate myself in table tennis as low/mid beginner.

After playing table tennis for a certain period of time, my badminton strokes seems kinda out. Maybe because table tennis is also alot of arm? But, i might be wrong as i am not a trained table tennis player, and dont play it at a high level.:)

i've done badminton and tennis for 2 years now

i havent played baddy in months, but im gunna start training for season in a few weeks
if u could separate strokes then there would be no problem

I play badminton, tennis, table tennis regularly and the occasional game of squash. Doesn't affect me, apart from a sore elbow from time to time.
