2009 French Badminton Open - Wednesday October 28 (Day 2)
I don't believe this.:confused::confused: Lin Dan is scheduled to play at 9:00 am, for his first match (in Round of 32, on Day 2) at the 2009 French Badminton Open.
I thought most French Badminton fans would turn up to watch at night time.
Here is the schedule: click here (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/matches.aspx?id=5348CDAD-55A6-4A65-B291-F28D50B709CE&d=20091028)

dylle 10-27-2009, 01:22 PM Damn, some interesting matches tomorrow.
My danish fellas, Joachim Persson and Jan Ĝ both have a very difficult 1st round match. Hope they can bring back the victory!
bradja23 10-27-2009, 01:41 PM Leverdez, the only hope of french MS is also at 9:00 AM.
I say only hope because Wibowo, french qualifier will face Chunlai Bao...
Hope the best for all FRA players. Pi has to be more motivated than last week or it will be another disappointment against Hirose.

What a 1st round for the biggest french hope! The way Hirose played in Denmark, she could "easily" beat Pi.

Persson meats Chetan Anand, who is'nt an easy win.
Jan Ĝ meats Kenichi Tago, who played a very good match vs. Chen Long here in Denmark, and won a set against Sung Hwan Park in Japan. Could have been worse, but I still think they have to play their best to get past this round. Especially Persson, who really plays quit poor at the moment.
bradja23 10-27-2009, 05:22 PM btw, bet365 was showing some matchs in live video today. I think it will be the same tomorrow.
freelast 10-27-2009, 07:11 PM Jin CHEN [3] (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/player.aspx?id=5348CDAD-55A6-4A65-B291-F28D50B709CE&player=2)http://static.tournamentsoftware.com/images/flags/CHN.gif[CHN] (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/matches.aspx?id=5348CDAD-55A6-4A65-B291-F28D50B709CE&c=CHN)-http://static.tournamentsoftware.com/images/flags/GER.gif[GER] (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/matches.aspx?id=5348CDAD-55A6-4A65-B291-F28D50B709CE&c=GER)Marc ZWIEBLER (http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/player.aspx?id=5348CDAD-55A6-4A65-B291-F28D50B709CE&player=21)
this is interesting. Was MZ just a fluke or not. He could be the hope for Europe, otherwise, Europe will be hopeless.

Best of luck for all INA players :) :)
Btw, will Anastasia Russkikh finally found her soulmate this time?
Meanwhile Vita also move on with yet another tomboys in WD :):)
Also, looking forward for another "Cinderella Story" or "A Knight's Tale 2: The Sequel"
Go Olga

I dont think MZ could do wonder again in French Open here.......;)
picachu01 10-28-2009, 02:07 AM I dont think MZ could do wonder again in French Open here.......;)
Yes, agree with you. I think there won't be any upset that MZ's able to make today. After China master tournament, "Giant" Chen has recovered his energy and this time for him reclaiming what was lost:D:D:D
george@chongwei 10-28-2009, 02:14 AM I dont think MZ could do wonder again in French Open here.......;)

buddies, can't believe what I'm reading here:confused: We have to put the knight on fire!:eek::eek: after resting 2 days his energy should be back, and may be CJ is a little lazy or whatever the reason may be that Marc can manage to take out the pace- everything is possible! And this also doesn't matter now, folks, keep on cheering underdogs first :eek::eek:
good thing, I was told that CJ's hair looks flimsy this morning LOL:D:D:D

Simon Simon Simon!! doing better now while Jo Persson still in trouble.
Schenk:confused::confused: no - don't like her games, no entertainment, just hoping for good end on long rallies, that's not what I like even she plays in Berlin. - and by the way Saina much better looking:cool:
kuwichert 10-28-2009, 04:54 AM Persson got the rubber - it's live on bet365
kuwichert 10-28-2009, 05:02 AM bad news for CJ fans, Marc's match not live today, so no chance to get live stream of CJ matches this week:eek:

You "predict" ? :p;) They are sisters, I thought it was one year apart (around that). Born in Malaysia ...
kuwichert 10-28-2009, 05:26 AM at the end Saina got it:cool:
And now folks, c'mon, everybody!!!!!!

Marc Marc Marc
Jagdpanther 10-28-2009, 05:28 AM You "predict" ? :p;) They are sisters, I thought it was one year apart (around that). Born in Malaysia ...
I'm 200% sure they're sisters. It's just that, their names are almost identical, only differ in 1st letter. S & T, LOL.
bradja23 10-28-2009, 05:28 AM CJ odd was not good enough to bet on. :p
ctjcad 10-28-2009, 05:29 AM I thought their advance to Japan SS final would increase their confidence and was a start of their rise. Perhaps I was wrong. :(
..when that pair didn't even get a chance to showcase their talent vs. KOR's #1 MD pair, yet proceeded to upset one of the top MD players in baddie history and came in within pts of winning the Final, that should tell you how confident they were..
vpsingh 10-28-2009, 05:29 AM Simon/Saina made it.... :):)
Chetan did not :crying:
Anyway, I will prepare myself for cheering for Marc and Arvind.
Soon Tine and Adrianti will be in court. Busy day for me.:D:D

:D True (I thought so too last year, that they were twins).
S & T: well almost. Instead of Tashina it should be Teshana. She should be 20 years old now and I think Sashina is 21 ...
badMania 10-28-2009, 05:35 AM As expected, Zheng Bo/Ma Jin [1] are also missing from the XD draw.
If both Hendra A. Gunawan/Vita Marissa [7] and Fran Kurniawan/Pia Zebadiah Bernadet win today, they might just contest a place in the SF. Likeliest opponent should be Tao Jia Ming/Zhang Yawen [8].
In the lower half, Nova Widianto/Liliyana Natsir [2] will have to beat Shintaro Ikeda/Reiko Shiota and perhaps their team-mates Devin Lahardi/Lita Nurlita for a place in the QF. Chai Biao/Zhang Nan should await them there.
The other SF place will be contested between the in-form Joachim Fischer-Nielsen/Christinna Pedersen [2] and He Hanbin/Yu Yang [5]
kuwichert 10-28-2009, 05:35 AM getting closer already now:eek: 6-10 , ha CJ did not get Danemark tv last week:confused::confused:
could be an advantage - did CJ not meet his bold buddy this morning?:D:D
jasonmarc 10-28-2009, 05:39 AM MZ is trailling way behine, he is probably imposing that strategy again, 'let u think u going to win and suddently surprise u' to CJ...........hehehehe
Jagdpanther 10-28-2009, 05:39 AM Fran/Pia almost there. I hope they can score an upset against (most likely) their senior...
kuwichert 10-28-2009, 05:42 AM yeahh. already now 2 digits in first game :D
Marc Marc Marc!!!
kuwichert 10-28-2009, 05:47 AM as I said, if Marc can take out the pace, he gets minor chances in net play:confused:
let's hope for second game and rubber later on:D

badMania 10-28-2009, 05:49 AM With both INA XD pairs winning their matches, one spot in QF is ensured.

Doesn't matter. KKK/TBH will win the title, like s/he says.
And if KiNdra win it, he'll say it's a hollow victory, since the World Dominator don't show up.

..they will have quite a struggle, imo, as i don't think Jenny is and could be at the same level as Gail; maybe later on in the future..Also, Nathan has been playing with such a dependable partner for such a long time that now he has to probably cover even more for his partner.
