Hi Guys
I bought a Tantrum 200 from Apacs UK, on the apacs UK website it is a 4U, but the one I got was a 3U and on the shaft it says 88-90g. Apacs UK have said that it may be the wrong sticker, as as far as they are aware there is only one weight, however it definitely feels like a 3U to me.
Do any of you know what weights are produced?
Thanks,
Stephen

I haven't played with it yet since if it is a 3U, I will be returning it!

On the Apacs UK website it is listed as a 4U, I need 4U rackets due to injury, thats why I went for the Tantrum 200.

Weighed up the Tantrum on a set of scales, and its actually 0.4g lighter than my Armortec 900 with the same grip so I'm not sure how manufacturers come up with the weight ratings.
The racket is pretty stiff, so will take a bit of time to get used to, but seems pretty positive all round.

i think you should go head light due to your injury, tantrum is pretty head heavy ;)

Are you guys sure that Tantrum 200 is a head heavy racket? I think it's more even-balanced. I'm now looking to buy a real head heavy racket to finish off opponents hopefully with just a bang or two ;)

Go with Victor ArteryTec Ti-99 in 2U....surely that's heavy enough for you?:D:D

Gemcat, thanks for the suggestion.
I don't know much about Victor rackets actually.
Before I do a thorough search on BC, do you mind telling me more about your suggested racket? I actually have either Yonex AT 700 or AT 900P in mind. My
Tantrum 200 feels pretty much the same as my Yonex NS 9900. Looks like one of them will have to be sold to make way for a heavy-headed banger soon lol

Apacs racket's specs tend to vary, even beyond their stated specs range.

I think my one is on spec it state 285mm +/- on the racket and after measuring the balance again my one is on spec , but still not sure about the weight at 88-90g , maybe it is smaller grip size that make it feel lighter
