Hi all, would be grateful for advice on this: 200534IPhttp://www.trademe.co.nz/images/listing/qa_answer.gif apparently purchased in Indonesia, and apparently Japanese origin.

Same auction as the one posted wrongly in the serial numbers thread ;). At $50 NZD now :D ... ends November 9th.

Yeah that's the one. I thought about posting in the serial numbers thread because everyone seems to do it but thought I'd try not to add to the off-topic-ness of that thread!

That's why we pointed the other fella this way: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13655 ;) (The Shopping Enquiries thread)
(but since there's a thread open now anyway, the numbers look fine)

Basically: if you have it in your posession this is the section to be, otherwise the marketplace is the section to visit.

Perhaps drifit can move this that way now ...

Thanks demolidor.

So to confirm:
1) The numbers look genuine?
2) All sales enquiries, including non-eBay ones should go to that thread?

Oh I forgot to ask, why is made in Japan got IP in the serial rather than JP? Are both IP and JP serials indicative of being made in Japan?

All Higher end yonex rackets are made in Japan. JP is just a distribution code.

Thanks. So how does IP fit in?

drifit

IP is the distribution code for Indonesia
SP = Malaysia & Singapore
TH = Thailand
US = United States of America
TW = Taiwan
JP = Japan
.............etc
