i just got an email from them... if anyone can test that thing, it'd be great, alot of people phraise the tantrum 200... so this should be pretty decent.

I'm actually thinking of picking one up soon. If I do I'll give a review.

Guys beware, I was told by an Apacs distributor that the Tantrum 300 is the same racket as it's 200 brother. Seems its only a cosmetic change for sale in Singapore and I suspect North American Countries. So don't get cheated into paying new prices are buying new rackets if you already have it!

Well since I don't have the 200 as long as the 300 isn't much more I'll probably give it a try anyway. Want to see how they stack up against my arc10, ns9900, ti10 and soon my z slash.

yes T200 and T300 are the same . now we must see how the distributors will set their prices

hmm if there is a difference in price, i'll still recommend you to get the T200. simply because its been around, and it is well known to be a GOOD and SOLID racket. even though the specs of the T300 are the same, there might be other smaller details that affect the performance. of course, it could be good/bad. it's too early to tell.

apacs canada does not have the T200 listed on their website anymore. That means I'd have to order it from overseas and pay extra shipping/duties... etc.

I guess they discontinue the old models and force people to buy new models for higher prices.

actually, I was under the impression that they were different. Same balance point, different materials, higher stringing warranty, and its now upper end 3U instead of upper end 4U. So i was told by Kam Yau of apacscanada.com and I highly trust him.

bascially it's stronger and bit more head heavier. bit heavier in overall weight too. could possibly be a bit less effective in doubles though.

Listed at apacscanada.com now. I would email Kam see if he has the weight and balance point you want. No harm asking and very honorable guy so never
any issues with him. Had the t200, was one of the nicest looking rackets I have ever had. Top 3 of best made for sure. Gal sweet talked me out of it otherwise would still be in my bag. :D

I've got the T300 and of the 5 apacs rackets I have it was the only one that was within specs.

What does that mean then?

That all off them have different characteristic like they are in official Apacs spec?

It means that only the T300, out of all the apacs rackets which I tested for weight and balance point, actually met their published specifications.... what did you think it meant?
