String : BG 66 @ 26 lbs
Note: This review is done after 3 badminton sessions.

First Look: Taking off the soft racket cover, while inspecting the racket I just said one word: B.E.A.U TIFUL. The paint and gloss coating is done very well. Thumbs up Panda.

Initial Swing: It felt good, felt rather light as it has not been strung just yet. After I strung it , the swing was much better. At the same time I was comparing the swings with the Ti-10 2nd gen. I personally felt that the Trinity has more power. Oh well I won’t know if I play air badminton.

Warm Up: One thing I noticed during the first few hits is that there is a decent power. It is quite an ease to lob and smash. Drops are pretty as usual. I was able to drive back almost every shot, the racket for some reasons is immensely fast.

Game Time: It did not take me long to get used to the racket as the previous racket was the Ti-10. The Trinity is just a few grams lighter but it so much faster and more powerful than the Ti-10. Backhand is effortless as I am able to transfer the power to the shuttle. In normal case even for the Ti- 10 I would need to put in more power to the backhand shot. The lightness and the power of the Trinity allowed me to continuously rain down smashes on my opponent. I smashed 7-8 hard smashed consecutively and I was not that tired. Apart from that, my cross court drop and half cross court smash is so much more accurate. The control on this racket is really nice. Netting controls are much accurate for me, not much of a problem there. Initially, I have some adjusting to do with defence. Be it lifting or a back hand defence I tend to over swing or execute the defence too early. Later on, I was getting addicted to defence. Why? The racket is so fast!! Not just that defence is effortless but also driving the shuttle is so accurate.

Conclusion: All things being equal the Panda Power Trinity 1 is a great racket. Materials used on this racket are top quality it feels very solid. The paint job is very good, it some ways it is even better than Yonex. The flex of the shaft was great as it was not too stiff or too flexible producing great power for a light racket. I am very satisfied with the overall performance of the racket. This racket remind me very much of the Ti-10 2nd gen that I have.

Rating:
Power:8.5/ 10
Control: 9/10
Defence: 9/10
Maneuverability: 10/10

What material is being used? Technology? I'm sure its a good racket since its was inspired by our SirDink.

Any chance that you have one for test at 30lbs? I dont mind trying it since it is in Malaysia.
