Hello there,
I am a beginner badminton player. Just today I bought a pair of Adidas shoes. Cost me only CND$40. Couldn't pass it. The shoe is called Adidas Equipment Light Lo 1HG INDOOR. The sales says it will be okay for badminton. However, after I got home, I tried to find the info about this shoe on the net but no where can I find it.
I'd just like to see if anyone on this board has owned this shoe?? and perhaps a review of this shoe??
Thanks.

Hmm.. Looks like no one heard of or knows about this shoe. Anyway, I am attaching some pictures. So from the picture, please let me know if this shoe is suitable for badminton or not! Thanks. :)

i'm not a pro, but those soles look like they may wear out quick or just go slippery.
but i like adidas shoes and they fit me well.. sorry could not have been more help.
they are probably fine. i prefer shoes with a "flatter" sole than the ones you showed. there is something nice about the sole is that the sole goes high up near the big toe area, by far the most easily worn part of badminton shoes.
one more comment though. if you go into a general shoes store or sports store, the chance that the sales there will know anything about badminton and whether a pair of shoes is suitable for badminton is around 0.01%... :)

I got the original "Equipment" shoes and these are volley ball shoes. I wear it for the bad. game about once or twice a week for about a year.
It is confitable and durable if U get a good one. My other Adidas fall aparts within a yr. Compare to the Bad. shoes, it's alittle bit heavy. But it's designed for indoor and jump/running. It's a good price and durable.

The store I bought the shoes from are a runner & racquets sport shop. So I suppose they some something about badminton. Beside, my badminton club people suggest me going there. I asked the sales why this pair is so cheap the answer is most of the player like more tranditional shoes. This one is just a bit too funky for them. hahaha.. guess I like funky stuff.
