personally have ns9000s, at700 first gen, ti10 first gen but surprisingly hardest smash is with the ns9000s
so it really depends how comfortable you are with the racket. :D

It's the most popular yonex racket after cab20. It is at 3rd generation now. Rackets don't last this long unless it can sell. It's not super expensive either.

I am afraid you do not get li ning rackets in the UK yet hopefully li ning will bring their brand to Europe in 2010
You might want to try At700 At900t/p they are similar to N90
Although at700 is more simillar

Well i say its the Ti- 10 first gen. Who is right?

In reality, i find the NS9000X to be a really powerful racket. Getting its true power takes a lot of work for me, but when i do, it can hit Harder than an AT900P/T. Mind you, this happening is like 1 out of every 30 ish smashes i have attempted with the X

I know exactly what you mean. I've been playing with the ZELM PP9990 and the Trixon8. I personally feel the PP9990 has a better "max" power but the T8 is easier to get a good enough smash. I am using the T8 a lot more now because I prefer the balance.

They both are very good for "smashing" but it really depends on what "best" means. If it's about max power, the 9990 wins. If it's about effort vs good enough return, I feel the T8 is better.

i am looking forward for your review in comparing Zelm Trixon8 Vs PP9990 Vs PP10000
hehehehehe....
right now i have only tried Trixon 8, i feel it is a lil bit heavy on its head. i am more towards power player, but uncomfortable using head heavy racket... i am more towards medium head heaviness not too light also.

For best smashing racket i vote for Woven 16

with the flatter head beam of arc zs, it really does toughens the smashes. thus arc zs for me is the best smashing racquet. iconic cab 20 is the best oval shaped smashing racquet. that's personal assessment.

The PP9990 is not as head heavy as the Trixon8 and the power is good. I seem to get more outright power from the PP9990 but this could be due to the tension instead.

Armortec 700 is smasher dream!!!

All else being equal, a racquet with an isometric frame should not be a better smashing racquet than one with an oval shaped frame: smaller, more concentrated sweet spot for the oval frame, hence more power onto the shuttlecock.

I have not seen any specs.. the n90 is very robust, so i think the N90 can take alot!! the most i have used on n90 is 33x35 nbg95 and that was no problem at all :-).

Well, it depends on which racket is more comfortable for you. I tried Z-Slash but not getting what I was expected. I can produce more powerful smashes using Nanospeed 9900...

I quite comfortable with DMS 330 Proace previously. Just got VH 2000 apac, it is very powerful. Proace TI8 and TI11 also not bad.

Many ppl said Lethal 60 and 70 are the best.

So far the best smashing racket for me is Sintec Professional 800. To unleash the power of the beast, i need to strengthen my wrist. And my smashing is simply unreturnable, even by a much better player. Unfortunately, i did not continue the wrist training, and the racket is collecting dust now.....:o

No, i am not pro, just that after i bought this racket, i could not feel the power, so i decided to train my wrist. But the training is for a while only, after that very lazy to continue.

For your info, i string my racket at 23 lbs, how can i be pro....?

hitting it out is not really unreturnable...more like its returnable but the receiver did not return it. there is a difference

I vote for APACS Lethal 60 (or 70)... I rate it as the best smashing racket among any APACS range... Not sure how Li-Ning and Yonex Arc series but it is comparable to Yonex Armortec series (at least much better than Armortec 300 I used before)...

The racket can string up to 40lbs or maximum 45lbs and proven the solid frame it made.

any racket + good brick wall = extremely good smash
jks :P
i like my mp100, my apacs lethal 60 coming soon, hopefully that'll b it...
but hardest smash would be my carbonex, but it uses way to much energy...

that's cuz it's going out, u would b dumb 2 return it :p

At700 is the strongest smashing racquet. I believe (no offence) people who believe they draw more power out of the Arc10 is because they cant handle the stiffness or head-heavy-ness

psychophant
12-27-2009, 07:36 PM
every individual has his/her own way of exerting power and hence, as usual, there is no universal Best Racket for Smashing which applies to everyone.

for me, the antique Carbonex 15 is/was still the best smashing racket. head-heavy and flexi. or maybe the stiffness has deteriorated over the years.

The Victor BSLYD and MP100 do come close though.
