I just noticed that the FAQ is up
This should cut down on a lot of the repeat questions here, which i'm sure some may find annoying afterawhile. But me personally, i dont think we get the same questions over-and-over to the point its annoying. Actually, getting a question periodically reasked could be good because it initiates new debate on the subject. As it stands right now, I think the FAQ is great.

BTW Cheung/Kwung... how is the FAQ answered?
do you search the old threads and combine the info together, or just write from your own experience?
BRL,
well, on record, you joined less than 2 months ago, if you have been here since 1999, you will feel differently. ;)

this is what we do:
first we need to find a table (a different type of "table" as the one i mentioned before); then we need to set up a altar for the holiest Gods of Badminton; then we put down lots of offering, Badminton Gods like feathers from the left wing of a Goose (i usually leave the meat out for some roast goose dinner later); then we write, with badminton stencil ink, the FAQs on to pieces of paper and then we tapes these pieces of paper with FAQs on it onto our most treasured rackets; then we raise and swing our most treasured rackets while praying to the Badminton God. a few minutes later, we will be blessed with the ultimate answers to the Badminton FAQs.
so, treasure the answer, it came with a lot of efforts in the part of the moderators. :)

Actually
I do pray to a badminton god
I was doing that last week during a really tight game. I ran into the hallways and wondered the building with my racket in front of me chanting something like
Goddess,
Grant thee
The strength, The power, The Determination
Let out the anger
CRY!
I'm being serious! I've seen my school lose 7 years in a row and it was time to do something different.
I guess I didn't offer the goddess enough in return for what I was asking, as we lost the last match that would determine if we would win or not =(
