It will be an All-China Womens Singles Semi-Finals. It shows how strong China is (in the Womens Division).

In the Womens Doubles, a Malaysian pair is still amongst the other 3 Chinese pairs.

My typo...you are correct. I have many times the WS landscape will be CHN dominated...while the rest of the world recycles their same-old-same-old and aging WS players, CHN has abundance of very good players...to make the CHN WS team is a dog fight and darn harder than winning SS or majors, survival of the fittest and the best...7 of the 8 QF are from CH therefore to win CO12 the CHN WS players have to beat their own compatriot....consider this, ZL is still young and out of the team, LL is the reigning WC and lost and could be out too, here comes LXR and WSX came in very recently, who else coming up next from CHN? Looks like the shelf life of CHN WS players are short compared to WS from other top nations who can play till old age...hehehe!!:p:D

sorry I have to say that this comment is too superficial and unfair to LD... being tired out by a WR#30 DPY tells why PSH is not yet at the same level as LD who cruised over the WR#6 Simon...

if they swapped their QF opponents, PSH may still be tired out by Simon, or been defeated by Simon... and LD would still cruise over DPY like what he did to Simon...

so this is not "unfortunate" to PSH, not because LD is more lucky... this is a reflection of their abilities... life is never equal every second, this is part of the game and part of the sport, no luck...

as China is guarrantted with the WS titile, all their WS players could play without reservation like their national competitions... so these matches would not be "boring" inside fights as described by many BCers normally...

given their quality, and the eagerness of the younger players to outplay their seniors, exciting matches could be expected...:rolleyes:

it is possible that in future QFs of SSs as well as the top 10 spots in WS WR could be a red sea... WYH, WL, LL, WS, WSX, JYJ, CL (if she is still allowed to play), the upcoming youngsters LXR, SXQ, XJY...... poor the rest of the world...:crying::crying:

The major turning point was the first 4 rallies in game 2. Long rallies where even when MAS was controlling the play, the shuttle refused to die and CHN girls retook control with exquisite defensive shots.
