Hi, can anyone give me a price update for rackets in HK? A friend of mine is in HK right now and he can bring some rackets back for me.

I want to know the price for:

MP-100
MP-99
MP-90
Ti-10
Cab-20

and where I can get them.

The current price for Rackets in HK (mr keen sports goods were)

with strings (inc stringing a varies choice of strings )
, MP99 $958, MP88 $858, MP100 $ 849, MP77 $ 799.

Ti-10 $642 without , and $735 with stringing..
Cab-20 $ aroung $450-460

I can ask them to prepare it for you , as I am very closed friend of MR keen sports sports, they were one of the biggest wholselling and retailing shoes in HK, they do all sorts of Wholeselling, like selling to company, university,college, schools teams, clubs, etc,

if your friend/s went to HK, then it should be better

I am not sure the prices, but will be 20-30% more expensive

If comparing Luxis website prices to Shuttlehouse website prices, Japan obviously sells JP rackets cheaper.

If you're talking about SP rackets, then buying the MP99 SP is cheaper in HK. MP99 SP is still relatively expensive in Singapore.

MP99 SP/HK should cost no more than S$200 in Hong Kong. It's retailing at S$250 in Singapore!

MP90 JP costs around $300 plus minus...... if you buy it IN Japan. One of my friends went there recently and confirmed this with me.

I bought my MP90JP and Ti10JP in Japan. Price is cheaper than HK (for JP rackets that is) Both are around Yen 18,000 or US$150 each there abouts.. I bought them around 2 mos ago. The MP90 is great! The Mp90 and the MP99 is the same racket. They call it M90 in Japan but its MP99 everywhere else in the world :confused: Dont know why Yonex does that....

Had a friend do a price check two weeks ago on the MP90JP in Japan, it was 17,100Yen at the shop 'windsor rackets' for the 3U version, no stocks for the 2U.

I can't tell you because the person charges S$250 to regulars. All I can tell you is that it's at Bras Basah and the prices in every shop there can be bargained. ;)

Whether you can bargain till S$250.... well that's another story.

they're the same in name only. MP90 JP or MP90 CN/CP is more durable than MP99 SP. Confused? Go to the Equipment Forum and do a search on "CN rackets" or "JP rackets" to find out more..... Or go to this badminton FAQ thread. (http://www.badmintonforum.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7724)

You'll know whether it's JP, CN/CP or SP, etc by seeing the cone on the shaft. It should have a seral code followed by the designation code----> xxxxxxSP
