This time, I just posting the website where I got my last comment from. Once again, I'm not the author but thought it would be worthwhile for people to read.

Its not the best thing to read as most of the comments are criticizing how badminton Canada is poorly run.

I'm not sure if all the canadians on this forum have been keeping track of what's been going on but in case you aren't, it's worth checking out.

I also wanted to know how others (from other countries) feel about this situation.

Note that there are some comments not related to the issue but it's still fun to read all the bickering.

The website is www.badminton.ca
You'll have to enter the guest book to read the comments.

Enjoy

Yeah, I've kept up. Some of the beefs are from Alberta Badminton (about the entry fees for sanctioned events - up from $75 to $125). Others are pissed at cancelled tourneys (e.g. Toronto Open due to lack of entries - probably because of the high fees).

Lack of response from the National association contributed too. In the past, I'd emailed Ian Moss regarding the crap on the Guestbook and was told that they planned to take it down (early this year).

It's kind of sad but it seems that we aren't the only one too. USBA are having problems too.

Not only that but someone posted to the IBF discussion board asking for the IBF to set in.

I haven't check the websites of the other provincial assocations yet other than BC but BC has nothing and so far has no updates to current or upcoming stuff.

At least Alberta has a schedule of upcoming coaching training (my current interest) as I want to finish up my Level I coaching certificate.
