Anyone here in Auckland, New Zealand keen for the occasional game either during weekends or after work during the week (at Gillies Ave)? I would be about C grade.

I guess there's only one way to find out if we're at about the same level. The only thing is though that at the moment week nights are a bit busy for me so weekends would be better.

BTW what's it like at College Rifles? I play squash there and noticed the badminton hall next door but never played there. Do the club nights get very busy?

i've played in gillies avenue with a group but only once. that was in feb 2006 during the oceania qualifying match for the uber/thomas cup. i watched nz vs aus. but that was it. haven't played since then. my rackets are collecting dust now.

erdnail you could start by joining a club near you. the badminton hall at gillies avenue is the main spot for badminton reps coaching, tournaments etc.. its the HQ of auckland badminton association. you could hire courts and play there..
also there's another badminton hall in massey east. you cud hire courts from there too, its much much cheaper there. best though would be for you to join club... i play C grade too, in lynndale club. where are you in auckland and how old are you?
