If you signed up for group lessons, what do u do when the time comes??
U just go in with your racquet and onto the court?
Where do u go??

Hmm....I'm in the advance group at my training now, we do waayyyy more than other groups, also very tiring!! But hey, it's fun! :) I remember i was in the beginners group when it was the 1st lesson. Maybe I should have told the coach that I trained for 3 years already? lol. I moved to the other groups pretty fast once he found out I knew my footwork lol.

Good question, crazyboy. Usually I simply wait in the lounge, watch some ppl play through the window, look stupid, twiddle my thumbs, and when the coach of the group lesson opens the door and calls everyone in I follow along obediently like a herded sheep. And the lesson begins!

Oh, and if you're in beginners' and dearly hate it, use the time to practice with people there who might be more your level. And once the session ends, move up!

oh and by the way, yes lee's is really expensive. i (well, my parents) waste about $2000 a year for me there and plus, i can't stand some of the people there (but shh...don't tell anyone) so i'm probably dropping out of lee's next year

i haven't heard of bernard but i've heard of minton (minton wing right?). yeah. i've been to John Fraser a couple times for those Black Knight tourneys...wait...are you that guy that hit my friend on the head with a bird at pre-ofsaa's?

chan
03-24-2003, 08:17 PM
lol... i dont think so, cause i didnt go to pre-ofsaa, although i did go to the turner fenton tourney... didnt do too well. (im playing up)... well ya, im not sure, but i think that there are a few ppl at erindale that are pretty well known. like barry, winston, maurice, bernard... ya... and it is minton wing. lol

Jus_anothr_grl

yeah...i sorta know maurice and winston. like, i know their names and they know mine but yeah. i dont really talk to them

chan
03-24-2003, 08:24 PM
ya, maurice and winston are my friends, they make a pretty good doubles team, but maurice can have a pretty big ego.

chan
03-24-2003, 08:35 PM
cause he plays up... sometimes he says he doesnt try... but he is trying... and he uses "playing up" as an excuse for losing...

Jus_anothr_grl
03-24-2003, 08:45 PM
haha...he's pretty tall though so if he plays net, i dont think i'll get anything past him. funny how this thread started off about lee's and now we're talking about maurice...wow...talk about off topic

chan

it's about $236.47 for the group training but it depends on the coach your want for the price of private training.

I agree, Bernard is hilarious! I trained High Performance with him (Lance Hunter was our coach). Bernard has a great smash but relies on it too much. But yeah, Bernard is really cool. Last time we played, Bernard beat me, but that was only a one-set match. I beat him 15/8, 15/3 once ....... but that was some time ago.
