Looks like I'll end up in Hobart in early May for a few days.

Is there any badminton around there that I can drop in??

How cold is the weather? Any ice/sleet/snow etc?

I plan to stay around 10 minutes walk from Victoria dock.

Any recommendations on cheap accomodation?

G'day Cheung,

Let me find out for you - I'll see if anyone knows. Else you can try finding more from badminton australia and I am sure they will be able to help you out.

So will Cheung come to Victoria also and show us how to play a real game of badminton? ;)

Ayl,
you have a good sense of humour giving me the website for the State of Victoria ;)
Hobart is in Tasmania!!
eh,eh, maybe Hobart is in Melbourne for some people.:D

If I come to Melbourne, I''ll bring some racquets for a comparison. I think Quantas are giving a bit of a discount, so might have to direct flight to Syd/Melb as a transit point. Depends how schedules work out.

Melbourne is one of the nicer cities I've visited:)

Thanks for the information.

Unfortunately, due to SARS, the trip got cancelled. I'll try Perth next year;)
