Kelowna Open

Anyone playin in the Kelowna Open in March 7-9???

It'd be nice to meet up with some forum people and perhaps team up for doubles or mixed (if you're female)

I can offer you my place to stay as well and obviously transportation to and from the tourney.

As far as I know, there are about six of us going up for the tournament. I am sure there will be more! Unforturnately, there are more guys then girls ( big surprise!) so everyone is paired up. YOu could request .. they do a good job of trying to find a partner for everyone!

I may have some partners here but I've played with them before and thought it'd be nice to play with people on the forum....

It's great that you guys are coming down. This is my first tournament In Kelowna since I moved here. I've played one in Spokane and one in Cranbrook.

oh and as for my place to stay...I gotta double check that and also mention that I'm about 45min away from the club...so I actually may end up staying in Kelowna with friends or in Westbank with a friend.

Don't worry about it. This is about the sixth year we have been going up there. We always stay in a motel about 5 mins away from the club ( and near the Dutch Pannekoek house...our fav!)

Everyone here has a 2pt and I'm afraid to do my racquets cause of the high tension I like....

I don't think anyone is bringing a stringer. Theres 10 of us coming up from Vancouver ( if we survive the Coquihalla). You can't miss us! Look for Les and Immy.
