THE TOURNAMENT
Open to all players who qualify by age as of January 01, 2003.
VENUE
H.J. Cambie Secondary
4151 Jacombs Road, Richmond.
EVENTS
All players entered in the ¡§A¡¨ draw with drop flights to ¡§B¡¨ depending on the number of entries in the draw.
Each player may enter 1 singles, 1 doubles and 1 mixed event. Entry fees will be refunded only if notice of cancellation is received by February 28, 2003. Age categories will be combined if there are insufficient entries. We reserved the right to make any appropriate changes to the tournament.
PLAYING SCHEDULE
Registration will begin at 4:30pm on Thursday, March 06. Play will begin at 5:30 pm on Thursday, March 06, 5:00 pm on Friday, March 07 and 9:00 am on Saturday, March 08. Schedule will change if necessary. All players MUST be available to play 30 minutes prior to their scheduled match.
THE TEN-MINUTE DEFAULT RULE WILL BE STRICTLY ADHERED TO.
PRIZES
Winners and runners up of ¡§A:¡¨ event will receive trophies. Draw prizes will be awarded after finals on Saturday.

NO LATE ENTRIES AND NO PHONE ENTRIES
NO REFUNDS ONCE DRAWS ARE POSTED
Deadline for Entries
FRIDAY, FEB 28

Hmmm... this sounds like a challenge to other clubs and centers. Guildford teams will try to attend as well.

player should recieve phone call IF they are not starting at the start times.

start times for thur and fri are 5pm

for sat is 9am

Did you know that there is a Maple Ridge Tournament this same weekend? Guildford teams signed up for that one instead.

Errr... Easy buddy...

I don't know the entire story, and I don't know everyone face by face. However, I think ur post is kinda harsh and might hurt ppl's feeling.

Personally, I don't think never win (or even participate) a tourny should do anything with enjoying badminton. There might be ppl do have a lot of chances or confidence to perform on big stage, however, they can still be good skill vise.

It's surely good to participate more in public, well to "proof" the skill lvl around the community. However, I think we also need to respect ppl if s/he choose not to "show".

thx buddy.... sometimes people are so harsh... i juss want to win the cheerleading contest n he gets all upset..... wut a harsh guy..... thx lazybuddy for backin me up tho....:D :D
