The mp88 is like the opposite of the Ti10 and Ab1000... mp 77/99/100 more in line with the other 2 you mentioned in playing style. Get one that suits your playing style instead of whatever your friends thinks you to get (which often happens to be whatever they want to get for themselves).

Try in the following order:

Yo's Sports
Lee's Badminton
Brown's Sports

Brown's is right outside Jane subway station. Prices are higher and service is lower than the other two. Ask yourself what racquet type are you using now (balance, weight, head shape) and whether you play well with it. If you need more power, go for Ti 10. If you want more control, get mp88. If you want something more versitile, Ab1000.

Coz I just found out that the price of both of these are pretty reasonable.....

u could try the ti swing power sr or ss...the sr is 81 g and pretty flexible...not too flexible not too stiff....the ss is stiff more power...it is 87 g so if u have 300$ in ur pocket go for it...i have the sr its awesome...i love it...best racket i have ever had...or the mp 77 3u...that one has a great amount of power and is light weight...good luck

Well considering your intermediate I do think you should shed out a good amount of money on a racquet to help your game. Assuming you have money (You requested a MP88 which is 205.00), I'd recommend the Swing Power too. I think SR would suit you more than SS would because you mentioned you wanted a racquet that would suit both an offensive and defensive game. The SS is stiff so it'd be good on offence (As long as you have the power to utilize the stiff shaft), but it wouldn't be as good on defence.

The Ti-10 is a very stiff racquet and it would not be a very defensive racquet. It would generate alot of power though! I think this is still the best Yonex racquet so far.

i agree...the mp 88 is also a very good choice...there is a 4u version...but the 3u should be good enuff and plus it should enhance some of ur power more then enuff...the swing power series is definetly the best racket i have ever used...the sr is good for power too..if u put alot of power into it...it takes time to get used to...the ss might be a bit harder to use if ur just an intermediate..

and yes the ti-10 is very stiff its probably the stiffest racket out there...
