Thanks:D The first intro of the concept was 5 seasons ago in the original Ti7 that had the MP in the frame but no reference to it in the frame graphics or name. The MP55,77,and 100 were all intro'd the following year in April.

How come on the Yonex site the specs for the Ti-7 doesn't show that it has an MP frame or UltimumTi...?

Ti-7 does have the MP frame, well...partially, cuz it's on the top and not around the whole frame. As for the UltimumTi, it is only on the higher end of MP series. Ti7 is a Titanium series.

So does Ti-10 lo~~ so I think it's the higher end of the Ti Lines that have the bumps at the top half of the frame

Do you think Yonex would add new technology to the muscle power series and/or change the design of it next year?

Maybe Add... but not Change

The MP Frame doesn't really improve your game or smashes etc. All the MP frame does is to hold the tension of the strings on your racket.

some ppl also mentioned that because of the little bumps, it makes the head heavier, i guess that's how ppl think it improves the power too...

I'm not so sure about this one, even if it does increase the weight, it would be so tiny that it would almost be considered insignificat

Also if they wanted to make it more head-heavy, they'd just add it to the rim which makes the racquet head stronger. Since less material supports the frame in an complete arch in the MP series, it should be weaker.

Actually... have u seen the VW bug commercial? arches are suppose to make the "structure" wut ever it is stronger!? or is that fiction?

Arches, because i'm sure that the design of the VW beetles does not give friction...lol:)

arches make it stronger in the direction it points. Since a racquet is round, it is theroetically a very long arch which points in every direction, distributing the load across everywhere. The MP bumps' arch points only inwards toward the centre, making it crack easier from racquet clashes. Well my description here isn't exactly correct but shows the gist of it.

mm... I guess u've got a point there... wut goes up must come down :p
o well... I dont really see any difference except for the wear of string at the points where grommets already exist... jus makes the string less vulnerable to breaking(slightly only though)
