View Full Version : Replacing grip
When you take out your replacement grip w/adhesive, and it takes out little chunks of wood out also. How do you prevent this from happening and what is the best way.

Use a blow dryer to soften the adhesive so that you can just pull the grip off.

You can do the blow dryer thing. I did it for a computer part where I had to remove stickers off the power supply and put it back on without it leaving marks. Are you talking about stock grip or any sort of replacement grip? After I take out the stock grip I add a thin over grip (On my current racquet, Yonex Super Grap) and add any sort of grip over and they'll just tear up the base grip at the most.

I am talking about replacement grips and stock grips. Anything that has the sticky part at the back.
