View Full Version : Need help with translation...
Kelvin 03-17-2001, 08:28 AM Can anyone help me translate the model, and series for the following Yonex racquet link???
http://www.yonex.co.jp/s_bad/index.html
It appears to be what I've been waiting for... a Muscle Power head frame, built around the entire head, in the traditional oval headshape!!! :)
As opposed to the partial MP frame, on the readily available Titanium series, and Cab 23.
Anyways... any help would be very much appreciated.
This is my last post for this morning, cause I'm tired.
Talk to you guys tomorrow morning.
U could try www.tranexp.com:2000/InterTran
dunno whether it translates Japanese or not though.
Kelvin 03-17-2001, 08:36 AM If my wild guess is correct, it definitely is a Muscle Power racquet, that much I gather from the characters... but upon closer inspection... IT APPEARS TO BE A CARBONEX RACQUET OF SOME SORT!!!
Using the Ultimum racquet composition???
COULD THIS REALLY BE THE CARBONEX 70???
If so you'll definitely get an indepth review from me. :)
Anyways.. sorry about all this getting excited, but as you can tell I really like the Carbonex racquets, for playability/durability reasons :)
Ok.. off to bed. (I'm a night owl in case you can't tell. Out during the evenings... and home on the computer checking emails, and reading up on stuff here, and reading about news related things.)
Talk to you guys soon. Bye.
r u in the correct topic????? I don't understand u.
Ricky 03-17-2001, 08:48 AM Try http://translate.copernic.com:8090/, it translates Japanese to English not too bad. Actually, which racquet are you talking about ?
See, I am not the only one doesn't know what u r talking abt.
It is Carbonex 23. It is of Muscle Power frame.
The Katakana direction translation is: Matsusurupawaa-70 !! :)
:D this is what the automated translation gave me: the SailPower-100 and AirLotus-40 !!
Zclyh3 03-17-2001, 08:22 PM People! It's the Muscle Power 70. It's the exact same thing as the Muscle Power 77 here in the US. I have the pictures to prove it.
Kelvin 03-18-2001, 03:24 AM lmao!
I'm talking about the new racquet... it is definitely an oval headshape, the picture is right above the MP100.
That's some wild translation there lmao.
I'm still laughing.
Kelvin 03-18-2001, 03:25 AM Can I have the link? :)
Kelvin 03-18-2001, 05:03 AM This site translation is really cool!
Kelvin 03-18-2001, 05:07 AM I think you're right.
However, why is the racquet frame of the MP 70 on the website an oval shape, as compared to the Isometric shape of the MP 77?
It's very hard to tell... but there is a slight isometric shape to it... If there was a cab with ultimum titaninium in it then I would buy it right away, but I don't think there will be one until a bit later on...
Kelvin 03-18-2001, 07:23 AM Oh, Ok.
Thanks.
I'll wait to see then.
High hopes. :)
oh well...
Don't you find that our racquets are becoming more like tennis racquets in design?
I could have sworn I've seen the MP head frame on tennis racquets at least 2 years ago.

Kelvin 03-18-2001, 07:24 AM sorry, I sneezed, and hit it twice.
:) :( :o :D ;) :P :? :X
Ricky 03-18-2001, 08:40 AM Take a look of this picture :
http://www.shuttle-house.com/MAIL-ORDER/Racket/YONEX-racket/034.jpg
I don't think the head shape for MP70 is oval shape.
Kelvin 03-18-2001, 10:04 AM Cool, thanks for the link Ricky! :)
Although I wish it was oval :(
Oh well.. guess I gotta wait another year.
