I looked at the TV guide for the whole month and I can't believe my eyes!
Starhub Cable TV is showing badminton on SuperSports and/or StarSports for 15 days consecutive from 1st-15th April, including Sudirman Cup....All England, and also Live telecasts of the Korean and Japan Open Finals plus repeats.
There's a break of 11 days (of any badminton telecast) from 16th-26th April before badminton returns to the screen from 27th-30th with repeats such as Siwss Open and Korean Open)
Feast on that fellow S'poreans and others who can watch!

Can anyone pls state the time pls... for scv. Thanks
Thanks Modious for the info. This is indeed a feast for the eyes of the badminton fanatic! I started to take a look again for "Sports on TV" in the "Life" page of the Straits Times today and found out that Star Sports (Ch 24) is showing the Sudirman Cup Finals between China and S. Korea this morning from 8 a.m. And now, I'm in the office without any recourse to cable TV. For office workers like me, we will miss many of such matches if they are shown during office hours. How I wish they could show them in the evenings!
Yesterday, Super Sports (Ch 22) showed the Thailand Open Finals at 4.30 p.m., again during office hours, although the programme is slated to end at 6 p.m., thus allowing some workers to witness the tail-end of the proceedings.
Hope they can squeeze in some matches in the evenings, otherwise some badminton fans will have to take leave to watch them.
Maybe it's time to stay home in view of the SARs epidemic!

Loh,
If star sports singapore and star sports malaysia are the same, the finals of the sudirman cup was also shown last night from 10:30pm-1:30am. Prior to this, recordings of the two semifinals were on Tuesday and Wednesday night (10pm). I don't know if they were on in the morning as I didn't check.
Oh, in case i didn't make it clear, Star Sports Malaysia is showing sudirman cup 8-11am this morning.
Libra
Many thanks for the info. Looks like there is little difference in the programme showings between Singapore and Malaysia. I shall watch out for likely repeats in the late evenings or even early mornings, just in case I miss them during office hours. Do enjoy the world-class proceedings!
Oh dear!!! I don't have SCV!!!!!!:( :( :(

Yes Libra, they've been showing the Sudirman Cup at night and in the morning.
According to the TV Guide, SuperSports (Ch 22) is showing the All England 2003 at 8pm tomorrow.
Also, StarSports (Ch 24) will be showing the Sudirman Cup at 3 intervals tomorrow. 1.30pm-2.30pm, 6pm-7pm, and 12mn-1am.
ljq, perhaps you should camp at one of your friends house tomorrow! ;)
Thanks guys for all the reminders.
Poor ljq! But not all is lost. As suggested, it is a very good excuse for you to tell your parents that you will camp out with a close friend tomorrow to enjoy badminton over cable TV and not to spend time in the computer games arcades (that is if you used to frequent them) and the shopping centres, where SARS is prevalent.
Am sure you will enjoy the entertainment!
Well I think i've got it right this time :
1) All programs hosted by ESPN Starsports are done simultanously in Asia.
2) programs belonging to Supersports are done independently.
Eg Astro Supersports will carry live this Sunday Japan Open Finals from 11am to 5
pm and also Korean Open following sunday in Msia only.

Hi, guess you didn't read my post properly. I said tomorrow, which is Saturday. But I do agree that the TV guidebook is not always accurate.
I've checked the newspapers today and they're showing all that I've mentioned earlier. Cheers!

Supersports is showing the Korean Open in S'pore LIVE as well, not only in Msia.

Now that is a great excuse...even though SARS isn't in the arcades and shopping centres:).
I don't think we will get the Japan/Korean Open live in HK. In previous years, sometimes it is on as recorded h'lights.
