i'm gonna stick my neck out and say that IBF is not doing enough to popularize badminton as a media events. From what i hear, this year all england was very exciting to watch and i, as well as canadian and american badminton enthuists, didnt have the opportunity to watch it on tv. Such a shame.

Some off top of my head suggestion to IBF are:

1. No color restriction on clothing
2. Designate certain tournaments as televised events and put more effort to on those events (new scoring formats, no color restriction, supplying technical commentator to those events)

It's late and i tire. Hope others would have other ideas for IBF.

They could improve on their Website, it is simply atrocious.

No, BC is the standard. If there were an ISO certification for badminiton websites, they would refer webmasters to BC for how it should be done.
Re the IBF site, I have e-mailed the webmaster with some suggestions, and they have accepted some. The problem is, a full-time webmaster isn't in the IBF budget. Most of our sport is run by people who do it for the love of it, and I suspect the IBF office is small.

Unquestionably. In fact, when any of us BC faithfuls hit a really good smash, right on the sweetspot and nail it to the ground just perfectly, our opponents or partners announce, "Holy cow! You really kwunned that one!"
