Poor economic

Indonesia has been dealing ith economic problems which I think affect the Badminton Association in Indonesia.
The association is lack of fund which stop them from sending players for tournaments. When this happen, some new, young and talented players did not get the chance to show off their talents. That's why Indonesia has fewer players at top of the ranking compared to china. I think there are many more players in Indonesia who has the talents, but they did not get the chance.

yes. Also in asian crises back in 1998, korea, malaysia, china didnt participates and many events were cancelled too.
