View Full Version : Places to play this weekend? (Good Friday/Easter Monday)
Ahhh.. it's the long weekend.. and problem is now that UBC is having exams.. the SRC (student rec centre) is not open to drop-in sports :(
Also.. seeing as badminton schedules/ dropin areas change often.. I found some of the older threads a bit outdated. Where can I play on weeknights? (any nite is fine)
I know there's Britannia on Friday nites. Strathcona is closed for the next 2 weeks for Sunday.
Where else can i go? :)
Now this weekend is Easter Long Weekend. Wondering if anyone knows where I could play badminton? :)
Any help for this special weekend would be great..
Like the fool I am.. I forgot to say clearly in the subject..
THIS IS FOR VANCOUVER, BC, CANADA.

Friday is closed at Guildford, Saturday and Sunday are early close, so likely the evening badminton on Saturday night is closed.
Britannia is closed this Friday night - Good Friday. Not sure is Saturday resumes normal.

Greetings;
For any of you who may be interested, there is no badminton at Britannia Community Services Centre this coming Good Friday. However, there is badminton on Saturday (March 26) there. Now, I have no idea how many people are going to show up for that program considering that there is also the Douglas B Junior and open tournament but hopefully there will be a healthy turnout. Best of luck and have fun to all of you who are in the upcoming Douglas tournament.
