ok so they look different, but what IS their difference when you use it? I am used to oval heads and havent had any experience with iso heads, and i MIGHT get an iso racquet....so then would that be a hard transition to do? also, the OLD ISO 500(before they even had an SR SS SX etc version of it), is that any good?

larger sweet spot to hit the shuttle, and supposedly more power.
I can't really tell though, as my brain is going to mush as I get older. ;)

:) :( :o :D ;) :P :? :X

will oval head hold the string more frimly that no significant gaps can be seen between string when used after a while but it seems that iso heads will have the larger gaps and do the width between the gaps affect the performance of the rackets ?how much percentage of people prefer iso than oval head racket

Apparently the oval head rackets do hold the string more tightly as there is less string on the racket face. A lady at a sports shop here in Singapore told me that the strings on the Isometric head shaped rackets how would you say? Move to the side more easily when you smash.....

I would say that the oval head rackets are better but today, i was using my old Ti-10 and it was great. I guess i'm not a good racket person anymore...

To me, the isometric headshape racket is one of the greatest invention. More power and more enjoyment in smashing. It gives you a different feeling than the oval shape racket. After I finally made my choice to the isometric, I never make a U turn so far after settling with a Ti-10. And I find that I can grow with it. Now I just can't wait for my next game to fire a hole through my opponent's racket!

hey hey what do u mean when the strings move away when u smash? I understand what your saying but, does this really happen more with iso frames? If everyone here seems to put down iso, WHAT GOOD IS ISO?!?!?!??!

Your sponsor pays you to use it in tournaments?
Charge more for racquets?
