hey matty,
from what i remember from stringing at yo's bg65 was only $17, bg70 is $23 i think, and bg80 goes for $24, bg85 im not too sure
as for other places to string, there's lees which is really close to yo's, but there have been discrepencies in their service. however i found it to be fine when i strung bg70 there. there is also brown's sports in downtown, but i believe prices are a bit higher there.

From my experience, Yo is pretty good for the price they give and the service they offer. Brown is the worest for the service and price of the three.Bg65 is $17 at Yos though he charges more if you are not asian or a guy, especially if you are neither. He usually gives that price if you bring in a lot of racquets at once even if you arent asian and a guy though. Otherwise, he'll probably charge about $2-3 more... and i guess it depends how he's feeling that day.
If he's charging you $25 for BG 65... maybe you should mention your grandma is 1/8 HK? :p:p :p :p :p

Tax is included... at pacific and commerce, it's included in pretty much every store.

Aside from CN100, i recon it cost them maybe a few cents per racquet? Most of the cost is R & D. The price they charge is whatever you're willing to pay for it, which is usualyl how good it is. I know for some industries the cheaper items may actually cost more to make than the higher end ones, but they charge different amounts to maximize profit.

well... they do have to make a profit out of it right?? so i guess most of the $$ goes to the guy that strung it. he had to sit down and turn on da lil machine so he can pour out all his strength into making your raquet tension the way you want it. *sarcasm*
