hi guys

i heard that these rackets are the most durable around and i heard(again) that they are the favourite of old guys coz you don't need alot of efforts to hit the bird with this racket. i want to buy this to play when i am not fit enough. I use yonex
Ti-10 at present.
all comments highly appreciated.

To be honest with you...
It takes good, and proper technique to hit the shuttle with no effort.
Infact, I don't know why a lot of people try so hard to hit the nylon shuttles anyways, as they require little or no energy to propel back and fourth on the court... Feather shuttles are a whole different issue, anyways back on topic here.

As long as you keep moving in your old age, you will always be fit enough to play our sport. :)

As for the Pro Ace themselves.. perhaps you could shed some more light about the racquets themselves?

I'm in the process of acquiring different racquets for reviews... so any new/different products, no necessarily Yonex, would definitely help me to inform all the other consumers/players out there. :)

Also give people alternatives to Yonex all the time, and save them a few bucks in the process. :)

i got sucked in one time to buy 2 low end proace for 50$ each but they broke like paper. Their high end models are ok.

Whoa buddy!!!
Hold your horses!! BROKE LIKE PAPER???

If I hear that coming from someone as experienced, as you, I will not be trying them... hehehe.
Thanks for the warning... I will however, give their higher end a try though.... I think. :?

the proace salesman promise to replace or upgrade the broken racket but he went back to vancouver and haven't show up in calgary yet.

the cheap proaces i bot were very light, about 75 gram. Actually i just remember now, i actually bot 3 cheap proaces. The first one broke after around 4 games, and the second one broke on warmup, on the very second 2nd shot (clear). It wasnt my stringing job. All 3 proaces broked at the shaft-handle connection. Each time my racket head threw off (far away) while i'm still holding the wooden handle. All the friends dont like to play double with me because of my flying rackets :)

1stly i thank you for your comments on my topic. i am going to borrow this proace racket from a friend at the court tomorrow(if he lends me) and play to feel how good the racket is( though i am
not experienced enough but.. lets see). if i am not wrong it is known as proace ELITE and it has the titanium thing at 6 o'clock
and at the upper shaft area--measuring about 4cm at both areas.
