There's quite a few in the Lethal series, but 35 and 50 are the special ones because they have a GIANT GROMMET HOLES ON THE TOP OF THE FRAME and a steel bit or something like the ones you see on the VH series.

ACCORDING to someone(drift something), Lethal 50 is apacs' latest SECRET SUPER WEAPON, in other words it's the top one at the moment.

Oh yeah, there's also a tantrum 11 or something which is very cool (black racket + red grommets!) but very weird at the same time(thin but wide shaft)

based on my readings here, i conclude that AMP95 is the best APACS racket that is head-heavy. am i right?

coz i am looking for a head-heavy and stiff racket, with solid feel and fast maneuverability for doubles attacking play.

    i think i should consider Nano900Power(red).

    anymore suggestions?

how bout the other lines especially the new ones, Lethal and Tantrum? i read the website and Lethal50 has a high BP also.

I think Lethal 35 is the one with big grommets (similar to Prince O3 Airport). The Lethal 50 has normal grommets.

no alternative, other than just keep playing with it, until it loses some of the tension.. but, best way is to cut, and restring :p

    Hi Hellojeffo,

Yes, taneepak gave a very good technical explanation as well as trying to give a layman version. Unfortunately, he seems to have lay low for abit. I hope he will return to educate us more on the other parts of a racket

I wanna ask you guy. Does a racket used for a time, and the shaft will become more soft? Cause my nano900power shaft is getting more soft... Some more I wonder why my racket string tension drop very fast.. 28lbs, and now it like 24-25lbs only. The string will run in place.

Two very different rackets, 9600 will definitely have better defense while VH1800 will be a lot better for attacking. If you are looking for a singles racket, I would go for the VH1800.

Yes, the carbon fibres in the shaft are subjected to pretty large stresses, and each time you hit a shuttle, it flexes and there are nano/micro cracks formed. After a while, these very very very fine cracks will make the shaft feel as if it is softer.

As for string tension, the drop is unavoidable. If the stringer is good, It depends on your playing style, the weather condition, the stringer, the strings, and so on... so once it drops until you don't like it, you'll just have to restring :)
