that's why the winners this year SAID to be paid more... in fact, it is a sum of last year's o/s payment and this year's allocation?? :crying::crying:

or they were promised to be paid only if the MAS winners last year could retain the title this year???:eek:

Ya lor, pjswift spill the beans already. :(

No need inside info. This was actually reported in Utusan Msia a couple of days before SS Finals started. But the next day Utusan did not follow up, no statements from BAM or BWF, I assume there was media clamp down.

According to Utusan Msia article, players from other countries have been paid but Msia players have not been paid for 2008 winnings (LCW, KKK/TBH, WPT/CEH)- TBH, WPT/CEH & Rexy confirmed the info to the reporter. At least that was the situation 1 week bf SS FInals.

It's always better for LCW to show his best performance/skill and to win quickly

    .
It's always best to finish a match as soon as possible when we are using the current 21 points NSS, regardless of carrying injury or not.

Our current players, using our current scoring system, should always begin with a good lead and finish a match quickly. IMHO, it's always better for LCW to show us his best performance/skill all the time and to win all his matches quickly.

hi everyone... i have question... do u think our backup shuttlers like liew darren , tan chuen seng(i wonder if i spell it correctlly) & arif latif can beat lcw during training session... hehehe... n im still saying that both kuan beng hing & hafiz hashim are far below the level of lcw... and btw, i think something isnot right with malaysian player smashes.. when i watch they played on tv, most of their smashes are quite flat... not like those chinese player (sharp)... guess, something need to be done by the coach to improve this matter... we cant continue winning just by defending though... :) any idea?

true... i believe both smashes have its own characteristic... guess it depends on when is the suitable time to use those type of smashes rite... nowadays in modern era game, smashes are getting harder... that's why we saw so many broken strings in recent super series tournament.. :)

    as far as i know
there is 4 ss titles lcw won when lindan is in it.;)

japan ss 2007,french ss 2007,swiss ss 2009 and ina ss 2009:)
lcw only won 9 ss titles, thats mean that lcw won half of them with lindan in the draw:)

hope this could answer ur question:)

    I think the question was 2010 not 2007 and 2009 ;)

    /Twobeer

P.S. I wrote "will win" ... not "has won" :)

    hmm
    acording to the ratio
lcw will win 1 ss in 2010 with lindan in draw
let see if this statistic is correct at the end of 2010:)

Will Lee Chong Wei remain World No.1 until the 2012 OG?

    .
If LCW does win a lot more tournaments in 2010, perhaps he is telling us 'Yes', to reply to this thread: Will Lee Chong Wei remain World No.1 until the 2012 OG?

But we still have to wait a bit longer; There is year 2011 yet to come.
