    Hmm, they still haven't fixed it. Anyways, here is the date code format.

    DDMMYxCC

    dd = Day
    mm = Month
    Y = Year
    x = Batch number (ignore this)
    CC = Country code

    Now if you put this together, 041182JP. You know why demolidor posted this kind of response.

    I have checked in the information of your Yonex Nanospeed 200 shaft Serial:1986555; Cone Code:041284US (date=04 Dec 2008) to my information list of Yonex rackets Developed by Yonex Japan (on the shaft) and Made in Taiwan (on the cap), its shaft serial and cone code are legitimate.

    However you still need to inspect the other physical features of the racket carefully and compare the specifications to ascertain its total legitimacy or authenticity yourself.
