lin dan has shown the world how badminton is played in this 21st century, displaying his skills in the net and his jumping cross court smashes. he has thrilled us for quite a number of years and has won practically any tournament there is to win and beating every player there is to beat.
but all this winnings are no easy tasks, it takes courage, determination and pain to train and win.
and he has make his fame and fortune now, probably the richest badminton player in the world.
until his recent performances shocked the whole world, first, losing to a very very low rank player then start skipping 2 big tournaments and finally defeated by his countrymen and again by his formal rival.
are we seeing the end of lin dan and does he want us to remember him as a legend...like this?

Today's CCTV sports coverage shows LD being interviewed. When asked for the reason why he lost twice, in the AE and the Swiss Open, he blamed it on lack of competitive play against international players, due to too many commitments in the domestic league.
