Dont think you're their fan, neither are some who posted. Didnt you say it's supposed to be gaining experience time in these few SS?;):p

I'm a big supporter of them since right at the start of this year, I really hope they can create upsets, considering that they can beat CPS/LKW, GWS/TKS and KKK/TBH, they have the skills but mental strength not there against other country players...

This is always the problem with MAS players. Knowing how to perform under pressure is what makes a champion!

Congratulations to Mak/Tan for being selected for the Asian Games...
after being deny a chance for Thomas Cup, I think is a fair chance
for Mak/Tan now....they have equal chance of SS and now Asian Games
to prove themself...hope they show at least something...

To be fair, just your opinion, how long you think they need to gain the experience?
1 year? 2 year? 3 year? Of course later part they need to win titles...but given fair
chance, how long you think they need?

This problem is not only on malaysian players.

It is a known problem and live among a lot of players including top world class players!

If it is so easily overcome there won't be only one champion!

Yes, sure...what i mean gaining experiences in beating not just team mates, creates some upsets by beating other countries pairs with higher WR......

If they managed to do that, its considered 'not disappointing'......

If keep on losing at 1st round, that means no experience gained......in SS tournies. Thats 'disappointing' !

I will be strict despite being their supporter. Since they are selected for the Asian Games, I will only give them until the end of this year. I want to see them create waves/huge upsets/reach SF in the Malaysia SS next year. But, NOT LIKE HTH/OSH.

being a loyal supporter is good, too much is not good.

bc has lost a good member just because of something he could not accept.

that is, why his favorite player just lost in one particular tournament

and win in the next one.

i would not mention the name or give any clue,

we have lost someone who could have been a good badminton supporter

also an educated person who could have shared with us more of his knowledge.

i really like reading his post and i hope he will be back.

so, again, be a loyal supporter but don't take it to the limit

why putting stress to oneself if the unforeseen happens?

    and they do happens!

Don't worry, I will always be around. I will give criticism depending on the situation but on the other hand I will give support. I will be the happiest if they do pull off the unexpected, and not disappear.

Where got a lot? 4 only left, if Mak/TWK going to AG, means Denmark & France SS they can go 1 only or not go at all. Anyway, I give them until mid 2011 to win GP Gold title. SS is hard, with all top pairs coming back for OG qualification.

I can see 3 kind of expectations toward this pair...
    high expectation
    mid expectation
    low expectation
what each one asking is not the same...

more important is how strong are their own expectations?

do they have that hunger to kick out just everybody in their way?

    in badminton of course..

i remember there was one time mas mental trainer asked the whole lot of players

'' what do you want to be as a player '' (something like that..)

and most of them say '' i want to be like lcw or kkk or tbh? ''

so that they can have luis vutton bag, a luxurious life style, fame and fortune?

    that's really disappointing!

you must be yourself to win ;)

there is a lot of difference here!

well, these are the words from the expert :D
