I also feel that something is missing from this pair, I haven't watched enough games nor am I any good at analyzing matches, so I can't tell or know what. Until they get this element, they will not make it to the top, for now... Hope I manage to feel the 'flow' soon!

GWS/TKS lack variation in shots, that's why. They themself said so and are working towards improving that area. Other than that, they have less international exposure, at the moment lack the experience, later they will get the hang of it.

GWS's smash powerful yes, he doesnt have crafty KKK as partner :p
I still think skill wise GWS/TKS are better than CPS/LKW

Mak/Tan's mistakes a lot at the net, GWS/TKS many got hit out in that game I saw. CPS/LKW, surprisingly I never saw their game before, even the one at the China SS SF :(

Hmm, that case I put it to CPS/LKW's mental strength, I rate them as highest mental strength among the 3. Mak/TWK at the moment is most panicky.

I think CPS/LKW is highest by far compared to GWS/TKS. GWS/TKS has problems in crucial moments while Mak/Tan has problems starting from the beginning like how they fared against Alvent/Hendra... However, I still think Mak/Tan are the strongest among the 3, but of course I am biased! :p :D

Guess I'm still outdated, the last full match I watched GWS/TKS match was Vietnam IC finals, they won that one.

If there is a guy who is good in smashing, better get a partner who got good speed to feed the net quickly. Else, its a waste of opportunity. Maybe BAM should find someone who can do good front court cover. ;)

Just noticed that all three pairs are in the top 50, and mak/tan are no. 29. If they keep this performance, top 20 by the end of this year is possible.

    Dreaded debut for Hee Chun

    By RAJES PAUL

KUALA LUMPUR: The draw for the Asian Games has not been kind to debutant Mak Hee Chun.
But it has not dampened his spirits.
Hee Chun will be partnering Tan Wee Kiong at the Asiad in Guangzhou next month in both the individual and team events.
In the individual event, the duo have been drawn in the same quarter as former world and Olympic champions Markis Kido-Hendra Setiawan of Indonesia.
They have a tricky first round match against Japan’s Hiroyuki Endo-Kenichi Hayakawa.
“For a debutant like me, it is certainly a tough draw. We never expected it to be easy anyway,” said Hee Chun.
    Yes, that's right. :)

“Wee Kiong and I will be very satisfied if we can beat one or two top names in the Asiad. That is our goal for now.
Yes, that's good enough for now but no longer good enough once you have become the main flag-bearer for Malaysia in a year or two. Look at the long term... :)

As for the team event, Hee Chun said: “We will be playing as the second doubles (behind Koo Kien Keat-Tan Boon Heong) and we hope to do well. It will be a great experience for us.”
This is the exposure you two need :D You've gotten some heavy exposure lately so I will be looking forward to your future performance!

As a precursor to the Asiad, the 20-year-old Hee Chun is hoping for a timely boost when he heads to Odense with Wee Kiong for the Denmark Open from Oct 26-31.
They duo are drawn to play against Hong Kong’s Yohan Hadikusumo Wiratama-Wong Wai Hong in the first round.
If they win, they should go all the way to the last eight for a probable meeting against top seeds Mathias Boe-Carsten Mogensen of Denmark.
We lost to the Hong Kong pair in the German Open and all we want is revenge,” said Hee Chun.
Revenge... and more if you can! :D

They have not won any titles yet but, judging by their determination, it won’t be long before they achieve a breakthrough.
How long? Next week to the first half of next year hopefully.

Because they are the future of MAS MD... and also the only event where MAS can expect to win more titles from in the future after 2012 OG.

I like what you written above, about the comment to Mak/Tan,
hopefully acceptable by some or else people will advise you
that this is not the right way to support your fav pair....;);)
