29.5 lbs!! Why don't you just play with a cricket bat You still want use of your shoulder and elbow? That PeteLSD guy must have succeeded in brainwashing you
Oooh Can anybody get in on this combined shipping? From which online store are you guys planning on buying from? Just rackets or other stuff too?
Agree Eric is the best, ask him for a price always good, ships very fast and is professional. Had a shipment in 5 days to Canada a few times.
Today, the MX-80 yoyo was up... very up... until I broke the strings. Somehow it felt faster today; maybe my arm was less tired. Power was only OK but that was possibly due to loss of tension. Generally felt pretty good. Until the next episode...
Hmmm, interesting... looks like Jung Jae Sung has switched from SW35 to MX80 in the WC 2011! See here at 24:34 http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_profilepage&v=kk60sQK1igk#t=1474s
I think now that LYD has over the past year himself developed a pretty powerful rearcourt smash, JJS needs to be more of an all court player than before to help out with forecourt interceptions, drives etc. Hence the switch to a faster albeit slightly less powerful racket.
been using pretty much VS850 exclusively at range of 25 to 27. everyone who tried it like the feel and touch of the racket+string. however, a bit slightly lacking in repulsion. i recently strung it up with nbg98 @ 29.5 and the repulsion is really amazing but the touch is lacking a bit. i am going to try lower it to 28 and see what happens. unfortunately with so many new rackets and so little play time as well as super whimpy power i am not breaking enough string on the MX80 to try out many strings.
cannot get used to it. the NBG98 is nice on power and sound. best in terms of sound, actually. but the touch/feel is just so weird. almost like a wooden board. VS850 at the same tension (29.5lbs) has a much livelier feel to it. so weird. will keep trying it until i cannot stand it anymore or when it breaks. then i will try VS850@29.5lbs, a string+tension combo that i am thoroughly enjoying on the SW35.
kwun, How do you compare vs850 with zm67? In terms of feel, power, control, and especially tension retention... I usually play with zm67 but I'm tempted to try vs850 after hearing all these good reviews.
