I don't think the BS10 design can handle being head heavy. I lead weighted my BS11 to be 305mm BP and it's way too unstable. However, an MX80 with a 305mm BP (weighted like a VT80, not an SW35) would be great to try. Maybe we should hold out for the MX90? C'mon Victor, you know you want to!
BS11's shaft may be not stiff enough for so much head wt. Perhaps if you add wt to increase bp to 300, the shaft can handle it. Have you tried adding wt to your MX80? It should handle the extra wt.
Nah, might play around after this season is finished, but I'm in the middle of playing competition so I'm keeping the MX80 unmessed with. Speaking of which, I want to thank Daniel L for a successful trade. Just got the MX80 today mate, so thanks for sending it so quick! (Hopefully you'll get my SW35 before the end of the week!) The best part? The new one is 92g / 299mm BP......my original MX80? 92g / 301mm BP!! Couldn't be closer!
well it could. I mean it could also be 301 mm bp. and u use heavy racquets. Mine is only around 88-89g. The thing I love about the meteor x80 is that it feels lighter than my 78g racquet. and its more head heavy.

My rackets aren't heavy! The weights listed are 'wet' weights and include string and RKEP Supermaster grip.
4U rackets? Or do you take the original grip off? In any case, light rackets! Or Supermaster (Powermaster?) grip is lighter than towel grip...I think all my 3U rackets are like 2g heavier.
Yep, I take the factory grip off and redo with Powermaster. (sorry, dumb name confusion!) Lighter, thicker, and makes rackets more head-heavy.
That clears it up. Powermaster is a super grip, but unfortunately, I'm so used to towel grip anything else just feels weird and throws off my timing & control. I also remove the factory grip, so my usual amount of towel grip is probably 2g heavier than the Powermaster. Have you played the BS10 before and can compare it to the MX80 in more detail?
Bah...people have been scarfing up the MX80 in the last couple of days from RKEP. No more 85g and 86g for 3U MX80 rackets.
Hope so. Been thinking of getting the MX80 instead of the MX70. But I really want both. Maybe I'll just get the 87g 3U MX80 since they have 5 of that weight. Damn recession (it's coming)...got me thinking of reducing my spending habits.
Recession... errr... it's here. Let's see what weights they have available come order time. Definitely a MX-80 for me.
Yup, always have 2 of each. Just starting to enjoy playing with it when I sprained my ankle. Been out over 2 weeks now.
