Thank for the advice Actually, I have 4 candidates : AT900T, SW35, MX80, and N50. But, because I never have Victor racket before, I'll buy Victor this time
You make a right decision....AT900T is not that maneuverable compared to MX80, unless you wanna buy 4U AT900T, the story might be different..
After two weeks of a lot of games, I sticked with the SW35 and must say, that this racket beats my affair MX80. @LD rules!: I'm addicted, too. Can't put the SW35 down. This love is too strong. See you guys. I must change my avatar.
Yeah, just something about the SW35 that you can't put down... Like sometimes when I am bored or not feeling in the mood to use the SW35, I'll use another racket like AT700LTD, or one of my friends rackets, and I will play well with these rackets, but then after a while I will feel that I'm missing something, so I switch back to my SW35 and everything feels just right I reckon I should try SW37 cause I've noticed that there are some rackets midflex that I like, but I'll have to see what the budget permits...
All my SW35s and MX80s are 3U, same towel grip and strung with BG66UM @ 25 lbs, same stringer, same machine.
Pardon me, but Im having the same disease too. I even sold off my MX80 and VT80 is pending for sale now.
Which midflex rackets do you like and would you like to demo? I'm looking for a midflex one or two but it's hard to make a decision. Thinking about BS 09, BS 12, Sw 37 and some others. Maybe you have some inspirations, cause we both love SW35 till death.
^^^ The logical one to try first would be none other than sw37. Then you'll need to start a new thread: sw35 vs sw37.
All I can say is, the MX80 and I are very compatible - I like its manoeuvrability and the speed very, very much! My playing style is more defensive, so my favourite is still the BS10, but I like how the MX80 lets me do occasional, quick and light smashes. Hard smashes also work decently with MX80, though having briefly played with the SW35, I believe that the SW35 can deliver harder smashes than the MX80, though I have always struggled with attack play. (I thought of changing my style and bought a VT80 (super head heavy in my opinion), and ended up having to sell it because I couldn't defend well with VT80 and I wasn't able to make good use of its full potential when I had chances to smash.) But needless to say, the MX80 is a fantastic racquet and I highly recommend it for all-round players who tend to be a bit more gentle with the shuttle!
Ok, could someone please compare the SW35 and the MX80 with the Yonex VT-70 and VT-80 in the following aspects: 1. Shaft stiffness 2. Head heaviness 3. Maneuverability (Which racket moves through the air faster) 4. Absolute Power (Raw smashing ability!) I own a VT-70 and have played with a VT-80 as well. I'd like to know how they compare in these aspects with their Victor counterparts!
