I think Gideon Marcus with his spirited playing type, should be with a well-rounded MD, while Agripinna should be with a good smasher to combine good MD combo.

Looks like ony Lindaweni cruises into last four (unless Aprilia would create upset to eliminate Porntip) as she will take on Sapsiree who defeated 2 INA WS at previous rounds, Firdasari and Bellaetrix.

HTH/TWK lost to Issara Bodin/Jongjit Maneepong in 3 games, no surprise there.

April lost to the no 1 seed Thai girl. At least it's a 3 set match.
    Porntip Buranaprasertsuk [1] - Aprilla Yuswandari [8] 19-21 21-15 21-14

Hayom v Takuma Ueda in semifinal tomorrow, a rematch of Thomas Cup quarterfinal last May.

Not that easy, KM still Asian junior champion only, but his progress is astounding, give him another 2 years and he can be in the top 30 I think. I think he is the favourite for WJC later this year also.

Issara Bodin/Jongjit Maneepong looks like they are 2nd/3rd ranked pair killer, just they beaten Ko/Yoo of korea and Bona/Ahsan of ina...
only thing is they still not yet match up against the 1st ranked pair like Fu/Cai, BoMo, Koo/Tan and Chung/Lee...

Woops.. Rendy/Afiat won over Kido/Alvent. Can they stop Kim duo?
    Meanwhile Ricky/Ulin will face the same-age-but-more-established Issara/Jongjit.
All 4 in semis are young MD, that's good.

Hmm.. Koo/Tan should be about same league with Ko/Yoo and Bona/Ahsan. While CY/FHF, BoMo, LYD/JJS are different class. IMHO.

Lol, I actually forgot that Viktor was still eligible for one more WJC. I think Viktor's progress have been phenomenal and accelerated even further after his humbling loss to Zulfadli at last year's world juniors. Now that I remembered him, if anything, I am sure he won't let go of the WJC title again and beat Kento convincingly.

Pia Zebadiah Bernadeth/Rizki Amelia Pradipta continue their good form after beating the third-seed from MAS in 3-sets. April lost to Porntip as expected, while Yohanes Rendy Sugiarto/Afiat Yuris Wirawan beat the senior pair of Kido/Alvent....a bit surprising about that.

    MS SF
Nguyen Tien Minh [1] vs Sony Dwi Kuncoro [5] - a tough match ahead for Sony against the overwhelming home favorite. I hope he can win!

Takuma Ueda [6] vs Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka [2] - it's also hoped that Hayom can avenge his loss during the Thomas Cup QF decider tie.

    WS SF
    Sapsiree Taerattanachai
[4] vs Lindaweni Fanetri - although Lindaweni did well so far in progressing to the SF, I think Sapsiree will beat her.

    MD SF
    Kim Ki Jung/Kim Sa Rang
[1] vs Yohanes Rendy Sugiarto/Afiat Yuris Wirawan - this tourney marks Rendy/Afiat's best tourney this year. Again, I don't think they can beat Kim/Kim.

Muhd Ulinnuha/Ricky Karanda Suwardi [4] vs Bodin Issara/Maneepong Jongjit [2] - it will be a massive result if Ulin/Ricky can beat the agile and attack-minded Thai pair.

    WD SF
    Chien Yu Chin/Wu Ti Jung
[8] vs Pia Zebadiah Bernadeth/Rizki Amelia Pradipta [6] - Pia/Rizki have done well in reaching the SF but they are up against the experienced Chien with her new partner.

    XD SF

Tan Aik Quan/Lai Pei Jing [6] vs Fran Kurniawan/Shendy Puspa Irawati [3] - Fran/Shendy to win and hopefully it will be an all-INA Final in XD.

Ong Jian Guo/Lim Yin Loo vs Markis Kido/Pia Zebadiah Bernadeth - ditto for Kido/Pia.

I choose for Pia and Rizki will get through to the Final tomorrow :)

But I also hope for one of the MD pair would make an upset. Really hope :D
