Hi, firstly I want to thank you for your reply. Just got one more question. Should these 2 sets of serial codes be concave or protruding? I hope you get what I meant by thay...
Hi, sorry it seems I am unable to edit my reply and I've got something to add, so I'm posting again. I first thought that my serial codes are not concave which drawn my concern but now I realized they are actually concave but just the digits/letters are not thick... which I thought it should be thicker by comparing to my friend's rackets. I've read those threads about identifying false rackets but everything seems alright. I've asked the friend who bought me this racket about its price and the price is ~10-15% cheaper than the price in the shop, and he purchased this online from like a ebay web. Is there a definite way of identifying its true/fake?
It does follow, I misunderstood the format, i thought it was dd/mm/yy, but its actually dd/mm/y/distribution etc. it is legit.

Hi, It's not about concaved or not. Basically all serials on Yonex racquets are laser-engraved. Thus it should be 'concave' Refer to this: http://www.yonex.com/company/warning-counterfeits/ (Sign No. 3)
hi, Please dont post twice. So did you buy it from Japan or UK? but either way, i am sorry, but it's a fake
I saw it wrongly. Please dont buy it. It's definitely a fake. And do tell us the name of the seller so everyone can avoid him.

I don't think my first post went through, so I'l re-post, sry if it duplicates... (Is it possible to have the shaft code starting at 3xxxxxx when this is a 2011 racquet?) Thanks a lot! ---->8---- cut here (include this line) ---->8---- racket model: Yonex NANORAY 500 shaft serial: 3059077 cone code : 301112CD source : shop name, location price : CAD$120 ---->8---- cut here (include this line) ---->8----
Is this a buying enquiry? The first racquet serial seems legit. The second racquet, i'll need the full cone code.
Basically it looks fine. Meaning its serial runs correctly with the correct order of serial numbers along with its manufactured date. http://www.badmintoncentral.com/for...2-Guide-How-to-Spot-Counterfeit-Yonex-Rackets You can refer to this too.
