Then I dread to ever try the z speed because I think the z force is really numb already..I only know I hit when I hear something >=(
Hm personally I havent played with Yonex rackets in a long time, but compared to Bg80 and 65Ti(on Li Ning rackets) the Vs850 is very numb.
Is the VS850 really bad at holding the hard feeling? I'm currently deciding on my next string, since I really like ZM62, but apparently VS850 is good as well. P.S. 65Ti isn't anywhere as bad as people on this forum make it out to be (if used at higher tensions)
I used 65ti at 26lb on an At800De once. Didn't have the spongy effect that the 66UM would get later on. Had wonderful sound and good power. Shame I snapped it though...
Im thinking about getting another racket for competitive play. Im worried too much about my JJS, the string is just so numb. I've strung it with VS-850 black @ 26lbs. Quite dissapointed with the string, should've strung it higher. Anyway, im thinking about MX-80 old and MX-90. I want to get that same power Z Force has, perhaps MX-80 but im worried i might not get one because it is now discontinued. April is when i'll recieve my money. Any one who can compare MX 90 and MX 80, or maybe even MX80N ? Thanks
Perhaps you should try BG80 with it first. If that string still can't get the best feel out of the JJS for you then I have no idea what could.
Been there with the 880zti. I still wouldn't call it a hard string. it sucked for me in comparison to BG 80 and VS850
With the JJS i am. But with the string i am not. I'm thinking of MX 90 or MX 80 (old) for backup in competitions (or if im very pleased i might make JJS the backup instead. Any comparisons/info will be greatly appreciated! Thanks
Are you looking for a backup that plays similarly or plays differently? If you want one that's closer or the JJS but is slightly easier to use when you're tired then I suggest the MX 90.
I've tried both the old gold and white and new blue and white ones. The blue performed better but still not as hard as BG80 nor as good.
The tension loss in VS-850 is what really sucks. I've only played with it in a few sessions and i can't feel and hear that "sound" , "feeling" when i hit the shuttle. But the JJS is superb, my smashes never hit those angles before. The racket really cuts through the air. The only thing i hate about it is the paint though
A backup that plays quite differently. Im really looking into the MX 80 (old) right now. I heard it's quite better than the ZF and much less demanding.
Go for the MX 80 then. You won't regret it(I hope). But then again they say the MX 80N feels exactly the same. But it isn't released and AFAIK at least locally for me..there are plenty of the old color floating around still.
