I see... strange why is it not widely available in China? I thought this was the nation of badminton players :p.... maybe too expensive?

Have you noticed that most of the good products are kept within Japan? Cars, electronics and sporting goods! Even if the same model exist in other parts of the world, the quality of the JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) products are usually better built.

This is a generalization. I used to buy a lot of Japanese goods at one time and my son who worked as an expat in Japan for 3 years also brought back many made in Japan products. Honestly I did not find anything exceptional about them. I ended up giving all those things away to the Salvation Army, especially electronic equip.

The original color had a slighly better feel than the yellow and red version.

is the nbg98 really worth the price? one of the stores here in Manila is selling it at twice the price of the nbg95. i was tempted to buy since i was there to change strings anyways but i went with the powergut66 instead.

That's bloody crazy. In Japan, they're both the same price. It wasnt reccomended for hard hitters either in Japan. I have a pack of nbg98, but I feel like trying the pg66neon instead. I tested it, and it 'felt' soo good!

    Just like in china..NBG95 costs around 40 a pack,while NBG98 (JP) costs around 90 RMB a pack.

Here's the price of the strings in china..CH
    BG6 -20RMB
    BG65-25RMB
    BG65ti-28RMB
    BG68ti-35RMB
    BG80-35-40RMB..depends on the place.
    BG85-the same as BG80
    NBG95-40RMB

I guess the string prices in china is cheaper compared to in other countries.
    What do u think?:)

Well, then I'd have to buy three reels, Gold-Yellow-Red.
I like the colors yellow and red, will match very nice with my red and yellow rackets.
Gold will go well w/Wilson Blade.

Yeah but.. you'll have a 'high'-feeling when you have the proper 10m packs of those strings. Just looking at it, I feel like looking at 10x 100USD notes :D
The 100m roll or the 200m roll is just a roll of strings.. :p
